Current availability

The subject-specific curriculum is authored but not yet published for completion. Learners may inspect its scope and learning design now. Start, grading, and completion remain unavailable until every listed gate passes.

  • qualified review approval is required
  • reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required

What this course establishes

  • Map credential, facility, environmental, insurer, OEM, recall, restraint, ADAS, welding, refinishing and high-voltage authorization gates without claiming technician status
  • Classify fictional collision damage, research model-specific repair information and build an auditable repair-plan and estimate record
  • Audit fictional disassembly findings, part/material traceability, corrosion protection, refinishing records, post-repair verification, handoff and quality measures

Entry knowledge

  • Careful reading, arithmetic and units, diagram literacy, visual observation, customer communication and willingness to stop at a safety or authorization boundary
  • Ability to distinguish customer report, visible damage, hidden-damage hypothesis, diagnostic trouble code, measurement, repair instruction, estimate line and verified outcome
  • Commitment to use the exact VIN, build configuration, OEM procedure revision, material identity and documented repair plan rather than appearance or generic habit

Scope boundaries

  • All customers, vehicles, VINs, images, measurements, procedures, parts, materials and repair events are fictional. Learners must not lift, support, move, tow, disassemble, cut, pull, straighten, weld, section, bond, rivet, sand, grind, spray, mix coatings, handle undeployed restraints, depower high-voltage systems, place diagnostic or measuring equipment, calibrate ADAS, replace glass or operate shop tools through this course.
  • This is not hands-on collision training, an apprenticeship, industry certification, state license, damage-appraiser license, insurer authorization, OEM certification, welding qualification, respiratory-protection fit test or medical evaluation, hazardous-waste training, refrigerant credential, high-voltage qualification, restraint/ADAS authorization, college credit or professional certification.
  • No completion time, score or internal certificate predicts employment, certification, licensing, insurer payment, OEM compliance, structural integrity, crashworthiness, refinishing safety or safe return to service. For fire, leaking fuel, damaged high-voltage battery, undeployed/damaged restraint, unstable vehicle, chemical exposure or other imminent hazard, isolate access and contact verified emergency and qualified response channels.

Fastest competency route

Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior knowledge can shorten conceptual study only when VIN/configuration, sources, measurements, repair instructions, materials, authorizations, evidence, supplements and limitations remain traceable across varied fictional cases. Manual skill and hazard competence require supervised hands-on training; no fastest-hour, credential, employment, safe-repair or insurer-acceptance promise is made.

  1. Pass diagnostics on vehicle identity, safety, damage analysis, OEM research, repair planning, estimating, refinishing, verification and handoff
  2. Repair every planted defect in the fictional collision-repair audit
  3. Complete and defend the collision damage-analysis, repair-plan and verification dossier

Full self-paced route

  1. Career boundaries, vehicle identity, intake, safety triage, recall and preliminary damage analysis
  2. Structural and nonstructural repair planning, OEM procedures, measurement, parts, materials, estimate and change control
  3. Surface preparation and refinishing governance, corrosion protection, reassembly, scans, ADAS/restraint boundaries, verification and handoff
  4. Applied collision damage-analysis, repair-plan and verification dossier

Lesson and assessment map

01

Role boundaries, vehicle identity, intake, safety triage, and damage analysis

Build an accessible, traceable collision intake and preliminary damage map without disturbing a real vehicle or converting visible damage into an unsupported repair conclusion.

4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.

02

OEM procedure research, structural and nonstructural planning, parts, materials, and estimates

Translate fictional evidence into a source-controlled repair plan and transparent estimate while preserving every approval and change boundary.

4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.

03

Refinishing governance, corrosion protection, reassembly, verification, and handoff

Audit fictional refinishing and closeout evidence against hazard, OEM, appearance, function, safety-system and customer requirements.

4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.

Required applied assignment

Collision damage-analysis, repair-plan, and verification dossier

Repair the fictional collision-repair audit and carry one fictional vehicle from intake, exact VIN/build identity, recall and safety triage through damage analysis, OEM research, repair planning, estimate and supplement, parts/material trace, refinishing and corrosion governance, supplied verification evidence, accessible handoff and quality measurement. Do not inspect, move, lift, disassemble, measure, scan, calibrate, cut, join, refinish or repair a real vehicle.

  • Accessible intake, VIN/configuration and recall ledger plus credential, facility, insurer, OEM and hazard matrix
  • Damage map and evidence index separating direct, induced, prior and hidden-damage hypotheses
  • OEM source matrix, operation/hold-point repair plan, parts/material record, estimate and linked supplement
  • Refinishing/environmental and corrosion/reassembly audit with product and procedure traceability
  • Verification matrix, customer handoff and quality dashboard with duplicate repair, denominator, missingness, severity, safety and balancing measures

Passing standard: 80 of 100 points, with substantive revision required.
