Current availability
The subject-specific curriculum is authored but not yet published for completion. Learners may inspect its scope and learning design now. Start, grading, and completion remain unavailable until every listed gate passes.
- qualified review approval is required
- reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required
What this course establishes
- Map CNA education, competency evaluation, registry, supervision, delegation and employer validation without conflating them
- Plan person-centered simulated activities-of-daily-living support with identity, consent, privacy, infection, mobility, nutrition, skin and escalation controls
- Observe, record and report fictional changes through a closed loop while protecting residents from abuse, neglect, exploitation and unsafe care
Entry knowledge
- Basic reading, arithmetic and communication skills
- Ability to distinguish observation and a resident's report from nursing assessment or diagnosis
- Commitment to protect dignity, choice, privacy, safety and verified care-plan boundaries
Scope boundaries
- Every resident, record and activity is fictional simulation. Learners must not assess, diagnose, triage, treat, prescribe, administer medication, feed a person with an unverified swallowing plan, transfer or lift a real person, perform range-of-motion or restorative care, use restraints, collect a specimen, provide wound care, alter equipment, access a real record, or direct real care or emergency response through this course.
- This internal certificate-of-completion course is not a state-approved NATCEP, nurse-aide competency evaluation, clinical placement, state registry listing, CNA license or certification, nursing credential, degree, college credit, employer competency validation, continuing-education credit or authorization to work. No completion time, credential, registry status, examination result, transfer, placement or employment outcome is guaranteed.
Fastest competency route
Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior learning can shorten study only when dignity, identity, care-plan fidelity, safe technique, observation, reporting and escalation remain traceable across varied simulations; no completion time, hands-on competence, NATCEP eligibility, registry status, certification, credit or employment outcome is guaranteed.
- Pass diagnostics on role, resident rights, observation, ADLs, nutrition, elimination, skin, infection, mobility, reporting and emergency boundaries
- Repair every planted defect in the fictional resident-support audit
- Complete and defend a simulation-only person-centered shift-support dossier
Full self-paced route
- Role, resident rights, communication and reporting
- Person-centered ADLs, nutrition, elimination, skin and measurements
- Infection prevention, mobility, safety, handoff and quality
- Applied shift-support dossier
Lesson and assessment map
Role, resident rights, communication, observation, and reporting
Support the person and the verified care plan while reporting change without independent nursing judgment.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
ADLs, nutrition and hydration, elimination, skin, and measurements
Plan dignified daily support that follows the current care plan and detects reportable change.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Infection prevention, mobility, falls, equipment, handoff, and quality
Apply resident-specific safety controls and close every observation, task and transition without duplicate credit.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Required applied assignment
Simulation-only person-centered shift-support dossier
Repair the fictional resident-support audit and build one complete shift plan from handoff through ADL support, observation, reporting and closed-loop follow-up. Use fictional data and paper/digital simulation only. Show state/facility verification, resident choice, licensed-nurse supervision and stop conditions for every task; do not perform real resident care.
- Corrected audit with one disposition per stable record ID and a duplicate-resolution log
- NATCEP, evaluation, registry, supervision, delegation, competency and employer-requirement crosswalk
- Resident-rights, identity, consent/refusal, accessibility, preference, abuse-protection and emergency-reporting packet
- ADL, oral-care, nutrition/hydration, elimination, skin, vital-sign and measurement simulations tied to a fictional care plan
- Standard Precautions, PPE, linen, exposure, mobility, transfer-equipment and fall-response controls
- Objective documentation, SBAR/check-back handoff and quality dashboard with denominator, process, outcome and balancing measures
Passing standard: 80 of 100 points, with substantive revision required.
Continue after this course
