Current availability
The subject-specific curriculum is authored but not yet published for completion. Learners may inspect its scope and learning design now. Start, grading, and completion remain unavailable until every listed gate passes.
- qualified review approval is required
- reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required
What this course establishes
- Map state CDL, federal ELDT, medical, endorsement, employer and operation-specific gates without claiming license or qualification
- Analyze fictional vehicle, inspection, route, HOS, cargo and hazard records using current source-controlled rules
- Build an auditable trip, defect, incident, correction and quality record while refusing unsafe or unauthorized operation
Entry knowledge
- Valid noncommercial driving foundation where required, careful reading, arithmetic, maps, time/distance reasoning and willingness to stop when vehicle, cargo or authority is uncertain
- Ability to distinguish license class, endorsement, restriction, operating authority, vehicle condition, carrier policy and dispatch request
- Commitment to defensive decision-making, honest records, disability access, passenger dignity and never driving impaired or fatigued
Scope boundaries
- All drivers, vehicles, trips, passengers, cargo, logs, inspections and incidents are fictional. Learners must not drive or maneuver a CMV, conduct an under-vehicle or roadside inspection, couple/uncouple, load/secure hazardous or heavy cargo, handle emergencies, transport passengers or hazardous materials, or substitute this course for behind-the-wheel instruction.
- This is not a Training Provider Registry ELDT course, CLP/CDL knowledge or skills test, state CDL manual, medical examination/certification, endorsement, road-test waiver, driver-qualification file, employer road test, drug/alcohol program, hazardous-material security assessment, college credit or professional certification.
- Only the home state, FMCSA/other regulator, registered provider, certified medical examiner, carrier, employer and authorized officials determine eligibility and operation. No internal completion, score or fastest route guarantees licensure, test performance, employment, insurance or safe driving.
Fastest competency route
Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior knowledge may shorten academic study only when class, endorsement, vehicle, cargo, route, HOS, inspection and defect evidence remain traceable. ELDT, CLP holding periods, state tests, range/road skill, medical and employer qualification remain external; no fastest-license or employment promise is made.
- Pass diagnostics on credentials, vehicle systems, inspections, driving strategy, HOS, cargo, routes, incidents and records
- Repair every planted defect in the fictional commercial-trip audit
- Complete and defend the commercial-driver trip and safety dossier
Full self-paced route
- CDL/ELDT pathway, classes, endorsements, medical and employer authority
- Vehicle-system theory, supplied inspection evidence, defensive planning, HOS and fatigue
- Cargo, passenger/hazmat boundaries, route/incident/maintenance records, handoff and quality
- Applied trip and safety dossier

Commercial-driver trip and safety dossier
Repair the fictional commercial-trip audit and build one paper-only dispatch dossier from CDL/ELDT/medical/employer authority through vehicle-specific supplied inspection evidence, defensive route/HOS/fatigue planning, cargo/passenger/hazmat boundaries, incident and maintenance records, handoff and quality. Do not drive, maneuver, inspect physically, load, secure or transport anything.
- State/federal ELDT, CDL class, endorsement/restriction, medical and employer-authority matrix
- Vehicle-specific supplied inspection/defect ledger, space/stopping risk and verified route plan
- HOS reconstruction, fatigue/fitness stop decision and accessible duty-status explanation
- Cargo/commodity evidence plus passenger/hazmat boundary, dispatch, incident and defect-correction records
- Quality dashboard with duplicate repair, exposure denominator, severity, missingness, accessibility and balancing measures
Passing standard: 80 of 100 points, with substantive revision required.
Continue after this course
