Current availability
The subject-specific curriculum is authored but not yet published for completion. Learners may inspect its scope and learning design now. Start, grading, and completion remain unavailable until every listed gate passes.
- qualified review approval is required
- reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required
What this course establishes
- Map reporting method, education, NCRA/AAERT certification, jurisdiction license, court appointment and assignment-specific authority without implying portability
- Plan and audit fictional stenographic, voice and digital capture with speaker identification, readback, exhibit, interruption, backup and chain-of-custody controls
- Produce and quality-check a fictional transcript and realtime/CART plan through source reconciliation, formatting, certification, redaction, delivery, retention and correction controls
Entry knowledge
- Advanced listening, English grammar and punctuation, keyboarding, file management, legal vocabulary, sustained attention and professional communication
- Ability to distinguish spoken words, speaker attribution, nonverbal event, reporter annotation, raw realtime feed, recording, draft transcript and certified official transcript
- Commitment to stop and escalate when authority, identity, audibility, equipment, neutrality, confidentiality, record status, accessibility or transcript integrity is uncertain
Scope boundaries
- All proceedings, participants, testimony, exhibits, recordings, notes and transcripts are fictional. Learners must not record or caption a real proceeding, administer an oath, certify or file a transcript, change a record, publish confidential audio, provide CART or legal advice, quote a statutory fee, or represent themselves as appointed, licensed or certified through this course.
- This is not an NCRA- or AAERT-approved program, state license, court appointment, RPR/CRR/CRC/CER/CET or other certification eligibility or preparation guarantee, skills-speed verification, continuing education, academic credit, notary commission, accessibility qualification or authorization to create an official record. Each court, jurisdiction, employer and credential issuer decides acceptance.
- No completion time, simulated accuracy, score or internal certificate predicts examination, speed, realtime quality, license, appointment, employment, transcript acceptance, accessibility effectiveness or legal outcome. Real record and accommodation needs require the responsible court, agency, qualified provider or verified accessibility process.
Fastest competency route
Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior knowledge can shorten conceptual study only when authority, method, source, speaker, event, timestamp, version, correction, delivery and retention remain traceable across varied simulations. Machine speed and reliable realtime accuracy require sustained measured practice; no fastest-hour, credential, appointment or outcome promise is made.
- Pass diagnostics on credential gates, capture, speaker attribution, realtime, exhibits, transcript production, ethics, security and accessibility
- Repair every planted defect in the fictional court-reporting audit
- Complete and defend the simulation-only verbatim-record and transcript-control dossier
Full self-paced route
- Role and credential gates, assignment preparation, impartiality, equipment and record capture
- Speaker/event attribution, readback, exhibits, digital custody, transcript production and correction
- Realtime/CART access, security, delivery, retention, business records and quality
- Applied verbatim-record and transcript-control dossier
