Current availability
The subject-specific curriculum is authored but not yet published for completion. Learners may inspect its scope and learning design now. Start, grading, and completion remain unavailable until every listed gate passes.
- qualified review approval is required
- reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required
What this course establishes
- Map J.D., ABA Council approval, bar-exam, character-and-fitness, ethics-exam and jurisdiction-admission gates without implying eligibility or authorization
- Research and update fictional legal questions through jurisdiction, authority hierarchy, holding, treatment, effective date and procedural posture
- Build fictional client-intake, conflict, confidentiality, investigation, pleading, discovery, evidence, negotiation, filing, trust-record and matter-closeout controls
Entry knowledge
- Advanced reading, precise writing, source evaluation, logical reasoning, fact chronology, quantitative literacy and respectful communication
- Ability to separate a client's allegation, an established fact, an inference, an authority's holding, dicta, a procedural rule and an advocate's conclusion
- Commitment to stop and escalate when jurisdiction, deadline, client identity, conflict, confidentiality, privilege, authority, safety or competence is uncertain
Scope boundaries
- Every person, client, opposing party, court, agency, document, account and matter is fictional. Learners must not advise or represent a real person, create an attorney-client relationship, calculate or rely on a real deadline, file or serve a document, contact a party or witness, negotiate a real dispute, hold client funds, assert privilege, or act as a lawyer through this course.
- This is not an ABA Council-approved J.D. program, law degree, law-school credit, clinical placement, bar-exam or MPRE eligibility or preparation guarantee, character-and-fitness determination, bar admission, license, continuing legal education, specialization, employment credential or authority to practice law. Each school, court and admitting authority decides acceptance and eligibility.
- No completion time, score, research result or internal certificate predicts admission, examination, licensure, employment, case outcome or legal correctness. People with real legal needs must use a licensed lawyer or verified court, agency, legal-aid or emergency resource in the applicable jurisdiction.
Fastest competency route
Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior knowledge can shorten study only when jurisdiction, current authority, facts, counterauthority, procedure, ethics, client decisions, deadlines and audit history remain traceable across varied simulations; no fastest-hour, admission, examination, license, employment or outcome promise is made.
- Pass diagnostics on credential gates, authority, research, analysis, procedure, evidence, ethics, client service, trust records and quality
- Repair every planted defect in the fictional legal-matter audit
- Complete and defend the simulation-only legal research and matter-control dossier
Full self-paced route
- Professional gates, jurisdiction, authority, research, citation and legal analysis
- Client intake, investigation, civil procedure, evidence, drafting, negotiation and accessibility
- Competence, conflicts, confidentiality, privilege, trust records, security, closeout and quality
- Applied legal research and matter-control dossier
