- reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required
What this course establishes
- Map a medical assistant's administrative and clinical-support workflow to verified scope, delegation, supervision and employer competency
- Build safe fictional intake, identity, vital-sign, infection-control, specimen, medication-assistance and escalation records
- Coordinate accurate documentation, scheduling, referrals, results, privacy, coding support and quality measurement without practicing independently
Entry knowledge
- Basic reading, arithmetic and digital-file skills
- Ability to distinguish a measured observation from an interpretation or diagnosis
- Commitment to follow verified law, delegation, supervision, facility policy and stop-work boundaries
Scope boundaries
- All patients, records, specimens and activities are fictional simulation. Learners must not assess, diagnose, triage, treat, prescribe, calculate or recommend a real dose, administer medication or injection, draw blood, collect a real specimen, perform an invasive procedure or diagnostic test, interpret results, access a real record, alter equipment, or direct real care or emergency response through this course.
- This internal certificate-of-completion course is not an accredited medical assistant program, degree, college credit, externship, employer competency validation, state authorization, CMA (AAMA), RMA, CCMA or other certification, nursing credential, continuing-education credit, license or privilege. No completion time, credential, examination result, transfer, placement or employment outcome is guaranteed.
Fastest competency route
Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior knowledge can shorten study only when identity, scope, safety, documentation, escalation and closed-loop follow-up remain traceable across varied simulations; no completion time, certification, license, clinical competence, credit or employment outcome is guaranteed.
- Pass diagnostics on scope, intake, infection prevention, specimens, medication boundaries, documentation, referrals, billing and privacy
- Repair every planted defect in the fictional ambulatory workflow audit
- Complete and defend a simulation-only visit-support and quality dossier
Full self-paced route
- Role, scope, intake and patient identification
- Infection prevention, specimens, medications and procedure support
- Documentation, access, revenue integrity and improvement
- Applied ambulatory workflow dossier

Required applied assignment
Simulation-only ambulatory visit-support and quality dossier
Repair the provided fictional workflow audit and design one complete ambulatory support pathway from scheduling through closed-loop result or referral. Use only fictional data and paper/digital simulation. Every task must show jurisdiction, delegation, supervision, competency and stop conditions; no real patient care or hands-on clinical procedure is permitted.
- Corrected audit with one disposition per stable record ID and a duplicate-resolution log
- Scope, delegation, supervision and competency matrix with jurisdiction and facility verification fields
- Accessible intake, two-identifier, medication/allergy reconciliation, simulated vital-sign and escalation packet
- Standard Precautions, sharps/exposure, specimen-chain and medication/procedure authorization controls
- Objective documentation/correction, scheduling, referral/result, coding-support and privacy records
- Quality dashboard with defined denominator, process, outcome and balancing measures plus source and limitation notes
Passing standard: 80 of 100 points, with substantive revision required.
