Current availability
The subject-specific curriculum is authored but not yet published for completion. Learners may inspect its scope and learning design now. Start, grading, and completion remain unavailable until every listed gate passes.
- qualified review approval is required
- reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required
What this course establishes
- Separate ACOTE-accredited education, fieldwork/capstone, NBCOT certification, state license, specialty competency and setting-specific authority
- Build a fictional occupation-centered evaluation from profile, analysis, observation, standardized measures, contexts, strengths, barriers, risks, goals and clinical reasoning
- Audit fictional occupation-based intervention, adaptation, assistive-technology, environmental, mobility, infection, documentation, outcome and transition systems
Entry knowledge
- Foundational anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, neuroscience, psychology, sociology, human development, medical terminology and measurement
- Ability to distinguish meaningful occupation, activity, task, performance skill, performance pattern, context, client factor and body structure/function
- Commitment to stop and escalate when identity, consent, medical stability, referral, precautions, safeguarding, scope, competency or environment is uncertain
Scope boundaries
- Every client, occupation, activity, assessment, device, environment, intervention, image and record is fictional. Learners must not evaluate, diagnose, transfer, feed, mobilize, exercise, manually treat, splint, apply a modality, recommend or fit equipment, conduct sensory/cognitive/mental-health or driver evaluation, provide wound/pelvic care, prescribe a real plan, give client-specific advice or access a real record through this course.
- This internal certificate-of-completion course is not an ACOTE-accredited occupational-therapy degree, Level I or II fieldwork, doctoral capstone, NBCOT eligibility/certification or examination guarantee, state license, specialty credential, supervised client-care experience, continuing education, college credit or employment qualification. No completion time, examination, certification, license, transfer, clinical competence, placement or employment outcome is guaranteed.
Fastest competency route
Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior knowledge can shorten study only when authority, occupational meaning, evaluation evidence, measurement quality, intervention rationale, safety, accessibility, escalation, documentation and outcomes remain traceable across varied simulations; no completion time, NBCOT result, certification, license, competence, credit or employment outcome is guaranteed.
- Pass diagnostics on credential layers, occupational profile, activity analysis, evaluation, intervention, adaptation, safety, documentation and outcomes
- Repair every planted defect in the fictional occupational-performance audit
- Complete and defend the simulation-only occupation-centered service dossier
Full self-paced route
- Authority, rights, occupational profile, screening and safeguarding
- Occupation/activity analysis, assessment, evaluation, outcomes and goals
- Occupation-based intervention, adaptation, technology, environment, safety, documentation and quality
- Applied occupation-centered service dossier
Lesson and assessment map
Authority, client rights, occupational profile, screening, and safeguarding
Open a fictional service episode only when credential, scope, identity, consent, occupational priorities, medical stability and safeguarding evidence agree.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Occupation and activity analysis, assessment, evaluation, outcomes, and goals
Convert a fictional occupational profile and reproducible performance evidence into an occupation-centered evaluation and measurable outcomes.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Occupation-based intervention, adaptation, safety, documentation, outcomes, and quality
Close a fictional episode with occupation-based reasoning, safe adaptation, traceable response and honest quality measurement.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Required applied assignment
Occupation-centered service dossier
Repair the fictional occupational-performance audit and design one complete simulation from authorization and profile through transition and quality review. Use only fictional records. Do not evaluate, transfer, feed, mobilize, fit equipment, fabricate, apply modalities, advise or access records for a real person.
- Corrected performance audit with one disposition per stable ID, explicit OT-018 duplicate resolution and defect/remediation log
- ACOTE/degree/fieldwork/capstone/NBCOT/state-license/scope crosswalk plus identity, consent, privacy, accessibility, safeguarding and escalation controls
- Complete fictional occupational profile, occupation/activity analyses and assessment record with standardized conditions, adaptations, measurement properties and missingness
- Evaluation, occupation-centered goals, outcome plan and evidence-linked intervention/grade/adaptation rationale without client treatment instructions
- Assistive-technology/environment, mobility/falls, infection, specialized-practice boundary and adverse-response records
- Attributable documentation, closed-loop referrals, transition plan and accessible quality dashboard with denominators, stratification and balancing measures
Passing standard: 80 of 100 points, with substantive revision required.
