Current availability

The subject-specific curriculum is authored but not yet published for completion. Learners may inspect its scope and learning design now. Start, grading, and completion remain unavailable until every listed gate passes.

  • qualified review approval is required
  • reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required

What this course establishes

  • Map paralegal education, ABA program approval, certificate, voluntary certification, jurisdiction registration or limited license, and employer authorization without conflating them
  • Produce supervised fictional intake, chronology, research, citation, drafting, discovery, evidence, filing and trial-support work with complete provenance and attorney review
  • Control fictional conflicts, confidentiality, privilege review, deadlines, document versions, service, billing, client property, security, closeout and quality records

Entry knowledge

  • Clear reading and writing, source evaluation, file organization, calendar arithmetic, spreadsheet literacy and respectful client communication
  • Ability to distinguish client report, evidence, legal authority, attorney analysis, client decision and paralegal work product
  • Commitment to stop and escalate when client identity, conflict, scope, supervision, deadline, confidentiality, privilege, filing or legal-advice boundaries are uncertain

Scope boundaries

  • All clients, lawyers, parties, courts, agencies, facts, documents, deadlines and accounts are fictional. Learners must not give a real person legal advice, choose a remedy, establish scope or fees, accept representation, sign as a lawyer, appear in court, contact a represented person, calculate or rely on a real deadline, file or serve a real document, handle client funds, notarize, or independently perform any task reserved to an authorized lawyer or other licensee.
  • This is not an ABA-approved paralegal education program, degree, academic certificate, college credit, supervised internship, NALA/NFPA or other certification eligibility or preparation guarantee, state registration, limited license, legal license, continuing legal education, employment credential or authority to practice law. The ABA approves programs—not individual paralegals—and each issuer or jurisdiction decides eligibility.
  • No completion time, score, work sample or internal certificate predicts transfer, certification, registration, employment, competence, legal correctness or case outcome. Real legal needs require a licensed lawyer or verified court, agency, legal-aid or authorized limited-practice resource in the relevant jurisdiction.

Fastest competency route

Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior knowledge can shorten study only when jurisdiction, supervision, authority, facts, deadlines, versions, confidentiality, attorney approval and audit history remain traceable across varied simulations; no fastest-hour, credential, employment or outcome promise is made.

  1. Pass diagnostics on role boundaries, supervision, intake, research, drafting, procedure, evidence, confidentiality, deadlines and quality
  2. Repair every planted defect in the fictional paralegal matter audit
  3. Complete and defend the simulation-only supervised matter-support dossier

Full self-paced route

  1. Role gates, supervision, intake, conflicts, confidentiality and client communication
  2. Legal research, fact development, drafting, discovery, evidence, filing and trial support
  3. Deadline, document, billing, security, privilege, closeout and quality controls
  4. Applied supervised matter-support dossier

Required applied assignment

Supervised matter-support dossier

Repair the fictional paralegal audit and build one complete simulation from role/supervision and conflict intake through authority research, fact and evidence organization, version-controlled drafting, deadline/filing support, communication, security, billing and closeout. Use fictional records only and never advise, accept, represent, contact, file, serve, notarize, hold funds for or calculate a real deadline for a real person.

  • Education, program approval, voluntary credential, registration/limited-license and task-supervision matrix
  • Role disclosure, identity/conflict intake, scope/fee escalation, confidentiality and accessible communication package
  • Research/update log, authority synthesis, source-linked chronology and investigation/discovery index
  • Version-controlled draft plus simulation-only deadline, filing, service and evidence-review controls
  • Security, billing, closeout, defect reconciliation and quality dashboard with unique denominator and balancing measures

Passing standard: 80 of 100 points, with substantive revision required.
