Current availability

The subject-specific curriculum is authored but not yet published for completion. Learners may inspect its scope and learning design now. Start, grading, and completion remain unavailable until every listed gate passes.

  • qualified review approval is required
  • reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required

What this course establishes

  • Separate ACPE PharmD accreditation and experiential education from NABP examinations, state licensure, intern status and function-specific authority
  • Build a fictional medication-use assessment that reconciles identity, indication, allergies, conditions, organ function, medications, access, prescription validity and monitoring
  • Audit fictional calculations, product selection, labeling, compounding controls, counseling, immunization records, controlled-substance records, recalls, errors and quality measures

Entry knowledge

  • Foundational anatomy, physiology, chemistry, microbiology, pharmacology, medical terminology and dimensional analysis
  • Ability to distinguish a medication-use observation from diagnosis, prescribing, dispensing verification and patient-specific clinical advice
  • Commitment to stop and escalate when identity, prescription validity, patient factors, calculation, product, authorization, competency or safety is uncertain

Scope boundaries

  • Every patient, prescription, prescriber, pharmacy, product, dose, lot, compound, vaccine and record is fictional. Learners must not verify or dispense a real prescription, compound or prepare medication, select or change a dose, administer a vaccine or drug, diagnose, prescribe, handle controlled substances, contact a real prescriber, give patient-specific advice or access a real health record through this course.
  • This internal certificate-of-completion course is not an ACPE-accredited PharmD program, IPPE or APPE, NAPLEX/MPJE/UMPJE eligibility or preparation guarantee, state pharmacist or intern license, immunization certificate, collaborative-practice or prescribing authority, DEA registration, USP competency, continuing education, college credit or employment qualification. No completion time, examination, licensure, transfer, competence, placement or employment outcome is guaranteed.

Fastest competency route

Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior knowledge can shorten study only when authority, identity, patient factors, prescription validity, calculation provenance, product checks, communication, escalation and documentation remain traceable across varied simulations; no completion time, exam result, license, practice competence, credit or employment outcome is guaranteed.

  1. Pass diagnostics on authority, patient and prescription assessment, pharmacotherapy reasoning, calculations, dispensing, compounding, counseling and safety
  2. Repair every planted defect in the fictional medication-use audit
  3. Complete and defend the simulation-only medication-use safety dossier and remediation log

Full self-paced route

  1. Education, licensure, patient assessment and prescription validity
  2. Pharmacotherapy reasoning, calculations, dispensing verification and compounding boundaries
  3. Counseling, immunization, controlled substances, recalls, errors, documentation and quality
  4. Applied medication-use safety dossier

Lesson and assessment map

01

Authority, patient assessment, and prescription validity

Open a fictional medication-use encounter only when credential, identity, patient factors, prescription validity and escalation authority agree.

4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.

02

Pharmacotherapy reasoning, calculations, dispensing verification, and compounding boundaries

Audit a fictional therapy and product from evidence through calculation and final verification without prescribing, dispensing or compounding.

4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.

03

Counseling, immunization boundaries, controlled substances, errors, recalls, and quality

Close a fictional medication-use event with accessible counseling, authorized services, traceable safety response and honest quality measurement.

4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.

Required applied assignment

Medication-use safety dossier

Repair the fictional medication-use audit and design one complete simulated prescription-to-follow-up workflow. Use only fictional records. Do not verify, dispense, compound, prepare or administer real medication; select or change a dose; contact a real patient or prescriber; handle controlled substances; or access real health records.

  • Corrected audit with one disposition per stable ID, explicit RX-018 duplicate resolution and defect/remediation log
  • ACPE/PharmD/IPPE/APPE/NAPLEX/jurisprudence/state-license/scope crosswalk plus identity, privacy, accessibility and escalation controls
  • Complete fictional patient, medication-reconciliation and prescription-validity assessment with missingness, provenance and closed-loop clarifications
  • Evidence-linked pharmacotherapy reasoning, dimensional calculations, independent checks, product/NDC/label verification and compounding boundary review
  • Accessible counseling/teach-back, immunization authorization checklist, controlled-substance discrepancy, recall, error and cold-chain response
  • Attributable documentation, privacy-safe evidence and accessible quality dashboard with denominators, stratification and balancing measures

Passing standard: 80 of 100 points, with substantive revision required.
