Current availability
The subject-specific curriculum is authored but not yet published for completion. Learners may inspect its scope and learning design now. Start, grading, and completion remain unavailable until every listed gate passes.
- qualified review approval is required
- reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required
What this course establishes
- Separate CAPTE-accredited DPT education and clinical experience from NPTE, state licensure, direct access, specialty certification and function-specific authority
- Build a fictional examination and evaluation from history, systems review, tests/measures, movement analysis, participation goals, risk screening, prognosis and measurable plan
- Audit fictional mobility, exercise, assistive-device, modality, infection, documentation, referral and outcome systems without delivering patient care
Entry knowledge
- Foundational anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, neuroscience, pathology, pharmacology, medical terminology and measurement
- Ability to distinguish observed movement and function from medical diagnosis, physical-therapy diagnosis, prognosis and legally authorized treatment
- Commitment to stop and escalate when identity, consent, medical stability, weight-bearing status, referral, scope, competency or environment is uncertain
Scope boundaries
- Every patient, examination, diagnosis, image, device, exercise, intervention, outcome and record is fictional. Learners must not examine, diagnose, prognose, transfer, mobilize, exercise, manually treat, manipulate, needle, apply a modality, fit equipment, perform wound/pelvic care, change precautions, prescribe a real plan, give patient-specific advice or access a real health record through this course.
- This internal certificate-of-completion course is not a CAPTE-accredited DPT program, clinical education, NPTE eligibility or preparation guarantee, state license, jurisprudence completion, direct-access authority, residency/fellowship, specialty certification, supervised patient-care experience, continuing education, college credit or employment qualification. No completion time, examination, license, transfer, clinical competence, placement or employment outcome is guaranteed.
Fastest competency route
Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior knowledge can shorten study only when authority, screening, examination evidence, measurement quality, intervention rationale, safety, escalation, documentation and outcomes remain traceable across varied simulations; no completion time, NPTE result, license, clinical competence, credit or employment outcome is guaranteed.
- Pass diagnostics on credential layers, screening, examination, evaluation, intervention reasoning, mobility safety, documentation and outcomes
- Repair every planted defect in the fictional physical-therapy episode audit
- Complete and defend the simulation-only patient-management dossier
Full self-paced route
- Authority, referral, history, systems review and urgent screening
- Tests and measures, evaluation, prognosis, goals and plan of care
- Intervention reasoning, mobility safety, infection, documentation, outcomes and quality
- Applied physical-therapy patient-management dossier
Lesson and assessment map
Authority, referral, history, systems review, and urgent screening
Open a fictional episode only when credential, referral/direct-access authority, identity, consent, medical stability and screening evidence agree.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Tests and measures, evaluation, prognosis, goals, and plan of care
Convert fictional examination evidence into a reproducible evaluation and measurable plan without treating a patient.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Intervention reasoning, mobility safety, infection, documentation, outcomes, and quality
Close a fictional episode with authorized intervention reasoning, safe mobility systems, traceable response and honest outcomes.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Required applied assignment
Physical-therapy patient-management dossier
Repair the fictional episode audit and design one complete simulation from authorization and screening through discharge and quality review. Use only fictional text records. Do not examine, transfer, mobilize, exercise, manually treat, apply equipment or modalities to, advise or access records for a real person.
- Corrected episode audit with one disposition per stable ID, explicit PT-018 duplicate resolution and defect/remediation log
- CAPTE/DPT/clinical-education/NPTE/state-license/direct-access/scope crosswalk plus identity, consent, privacy, accessibility and escalation controls
- Complete fictional history, systems review and examination with standardized test conditions, units, measurement properties, missingness and urgent referral triggers
- Evaluation, prognosis, patient-centered goals, evidence-linked plan, intervention rationale, dose dimensions, precautions, reassessment and discharge criteria without treatment instructions
- Mobility/device, falls, infection, modality/manual-technique boundary, adverse-response and emergency readiness records
- Attributable documentation, closed-loop referrals and accessible outcome dashboard with denominators, stratification and balancing measures
Passing standard: 80 of 100 points, with substantive revision required.
