Current availability
The subject-specific curriculum is authored but not yet published for completion. Learners may inspect its scope and learning design now. Start, grading, and completion remain unavailable until every listed gate passes.
- qualified review approval is required
- reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required
What this course establishes
- Separate JRCERT accreditation, ARRT eligibility and certification/registration, state licensure, facility credentialing, supervision and exam-specific authorization
- Plan fictional radiographic encounters using identity, order, consent, communication, positioning intent, exposure optimization, radiation protection and image-evaluation controls
- Close a fictional imaging encounter with contrast and emergency boundaries, infection controls, accurate DICOM/PACS documentation, critical communication and reproducible quality measures
Entry knowledge
- Foundational anatomy, physiology, algebra, scientific notation, medical terminology and digital literacy
- Ability to distinguish an imaging order and protocol from a technologist's independent diagnosis or prescription
- Commitment to stop and escalate whenever identity, order, consent, pregnancy status, equipment condition, competency, supervision or exposure authorization is uncertain
Scope boundaries
- Every patient, order, pregnancy screen, image, exposure, detector, contrast product, device, facility and record is fictional. Learners must not position, transfer, restrain or expose a real person; select or enter clinical exposure factors; operate an x-ray or fluoroscopy system; inject or administer contrast or medication; perform venipuncture; diagnose an image; override an order or protocol; give real radiation-risk advice; respond clinically to a contrast reaction; or access a real imaging record through this course.
- This internal certificate-of-completion course is not a JRCERT-accredited radiography program, ARRT-approved educational program, associate degree, didactic or clinical competency record, ARRT eligibility/certification/registration or examination guarantee, state license or permit, fluoroscopy authorization, facility credential, venipuncture/contrast competency, clinical placement, continuing education, degree or college credit. No completion time, credential, licensure, transfer, clinical competence, placement or employment outcome is guaranteed.
Fastest competency route
Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior knowledge can shorten study only when patient rights, order matching, radiation protection, image-quality reasoning, emergency boundaries, data integrity and quality evidence remain traceable across varied simulations; no completion time, ARRT result, license, clinical competency, credit or employment outcome is guaranteed.
- Pass diagnostics on credential layers, patient care, radiation science, exposure optimization, image evaluation, contrast boundaries, informatics and quality
- Repair every planted defect in the fictional radiography encounter audit with source-linked reasoning
- Complete and defend the simulation-only imaging-service dossier and remediation log
Full self-paced route
- Professional authority, patient identity, order, consent, access and safe care
- Radiation science, exposure optimization, acquisition and image evaluation
- Contrast and emergency boundaries, infection control, informatics, documentation and quality
- Applied diagnostic-radiography service dossier
Lesson and assessment map
Professional authority, patient identity, order, consent, and safe care
Open a fictional radiographic encounter only when professional authority, patient identity, exam order, consent, communication and movement controls agree.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Radiation science, exposure optimization, acquisition, and image evaluation
Reason from fictional exam purpose, anatomy, geometry, detector behavior and image evidence to an optimized plan without supplying real exposure settings.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Contrast boundaries, infection control, informatics, documentation, and quality
Close a fictional imaging encounter with contrast and emergency safeguards, clean equipment, correct image identity, accepted communication and measurable quality controls.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Required applied assignment
Simulation-only diagnostic-radiography service dossier
Repair the fictional encounter audit and design one complete radiographic workflow from verified order through image reconciliation and quality review. Use only fictional text records and digital simulation. Do not contact, position, transfer or expose a real patient; select clinical exposure settings; operate imaging equipment; administer contrast or medication; access real records; or interpret a real image.
- Corrected encounter audit with one disposition per stable ID, explicit RT-018 duplicate resolution and a defect/remediation log
- JRCERT/ARRT/state/facility/supervision/clinical-competency authority crosswalk plus two-identifier, order, laterality, consent, pregnancy-screen and communication controls
- Patient movement/accessibility plan and synthetic acquisition-intent, geometry, collimation, detector, exposure-indicator and image-evaluation record without clinical exposure values
- Repeat/no-repeat decisions with root cause, corrected plan, dose justification, equipment-fault response and accessible image-quality descriptions
- Contrast authorization/screening/readiness and emergency-escalation record plus Standard Precautions, reprocessing and occupational-safety plan
- DICOM/RIS/PACS identity and downtime reconciliation, closed-loop urgent communication, auditable correction trail and accessible QI dashboard with denominators, stratification and balancing measures
Passing standard: 80 of 100 points, with substantive revision required.
