Current availability
The subject-specific curriculum is authored but not yet published for completion. Learners may inspect its scope and learning design now. Start, grading, and completion remain unavailable until every listed gate passes.
- qualified review approval is required
- reviewer identity, qualification, evidence, and approval date are required
What this course establishes
- Turn an evidenced user problem into bounded requirements, task flows, acceptance criteria, data and API contracts, architecture decisions, risks, and an accessible prototype plan
- Implement and verify a small full-stack product slice with semantic UI, explicit state, server-side authorization and validation, safe data handling, automated tests, observability, and reproducible builds
- Release and operate a product through staged deployment, migration, monitoring, incident response, rollback, user support, privacy/accessibility review, and evidence-based iteration
Entry knowledge
- Basic computer, browser, file, and spreadsheet use
- Introductory HTML, CSS, JavaScript, command-line, and version-control familiarity is helpful but not required
- Willingness to document assumptions and test work rather than treating generated code as correct
Scope boundaries
- Uses fictional users, organizations, credentials, environments, transactions, incidents, and synthetic data only. Learners must not deploy to production, process real personal or regulated data, probe systems without authorization, paste secrets into tools, copy unlicensed code, or make unsupported legal, security, accessibility, medical, financial, or compliance claims.
- This broad course introduces end-to-end product construction but does not replace specialized software engineering, security, privacy, accessibility, SRE, database, UX research, legal, or domain expertise. It is not a degree, recognized college credit, professional certification, license, security authorization, accessibility conformance statement, or guarantee of employment or safe production operation.
Fastest competency route
Completion is self-paced and competency-based. Prior product or coding experience shortens study only when requirements, source, tests, security, accessibility, privacy, deployment, monitoring, and recovery evidence are reproducible. No completion time, production readiness, security, conformance, certification, employment, market outcome, or academic credit is guaranteed.
- Pass diagnostics for product framing, architecture, data/API contracts, semantic UI, authorization, validation, testing, performance, deployment, monitoring, incident response, accessibility, privacy, and rollback
- Repair every planted defect in the synthetic build-and-release ledger
- Complete and defend the governed vertical-slice delivery dossier
Full self-paced route
- Problem framing, requirements, architecture, and contracts
- Accessible implementation, data, security, and verification
- Release, operations, incidents, and evidence-based iteration
- Applied technical-product delivery dossier
Lesson and assessment map
Problem framing, requirements, architecture, and contracts
Define a small product slice and its system boundaries before implementation commits the team to an untested solution.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Accessible implementation, data, security, and verification
Build a maintainable vertical slice whose behavior, permissions, data, and quality are proven at appropriate layers.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Release, operations, incidents, and evidence-based iteration
Ship a reversible release and operate it from observable service and user outcomes rather than deployment optimism.
4 questions: recall, application, judgment, and error correction.
Required applied assignment
Specify, build, verify, release, and operate a fictional product slice
Use only supplied fictional identities, accounts, credentials, systems, transactions, incidents, and synthetic data in an isolated local or course sandbox. Do not deploy publicly, process real personal or regulated data, probe systems without authorization, paste secrets into tools, or claim production security, privacy, accessibility, legal compliance, or certification. Real delivery requires qualified engineering, security, privacy, accessibility, operations, legal, and domain review.
- Evidence-backed product brief, tasks and complete state map, functional/quality acceptance criteria, trust/data-flow diagram, risks, architecture decisions, UI/data/API contracts, non-goals and traceability matrix
- Small vertical slice with semantic responsive UI, explicit states, server-side authorization and validation, isolated accounts, governed schema and migration, idempotent writes, redacted observability, dependencies and provenance
- Automated and manual evidence across unit, component, integration, contract, end-to-end, cross-account authorization, accessibility, security abuse, performance, migration, rollback, backup and restore
- Versioned release plan, staged rollout, compatibility and rollback, SLI/SLO dashboard, runbook, incident simulation and review, corrective actions, support path, limitations and evidence-based iteration decision
Passing standard: 85 of 100 points, with substantive revision required.
Continue after this course
- Deeper programming, computer science, databases, distributed systems, testing, security, accessibility, product research, and site-reliability engineering
- Supervised delivery in a specific stack, sector, deployment environment, and jurisdiction
- Credentials verified directly with their issuers; this internal certificate of completion is not an industry credential
